The scholarship is funded by Die Presse in the amount of EUR 14,000 this year and thus contributes indirectly to the diffusion process of future issues of alternative energy production. The scholarship holder is will get the chance of continuing education in terms of “pioneering spirits”. The field Renewable Energy was reserved for pioneering spirits, idealists, and lateral entrants, all of whom played an important part in the development of this sector. Meanwhile there is an increasing demand of the economy for well-founded know-how on renewable energy. The unique, interdisciplinary part-time MSc Program by the Vienna University of Technology in cooperation with Energiepark Bruck/Leitha will accept this challenge. The candidate interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send their application documents (CV and a compelling motivation letter) in English. The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. EUR 5,000 have to be paid on the scholarship´s own risk. Any recourse of law is excluded. The winner will be informed.
