University of Amsterdam Scholarships for International Students 2020

The University of Amsterdam aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. Outstanding students from outside the European Economic Area can apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.

Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. You can find the specific eligibility requirements, selection criteria and application instructions on the Faculty or Graduate School websites. Deadline for scholarship applications differ per Faculty but is around January to May 2020 when starting in September 2020.

Scholarship benefits

Depending on the faculty, the scholarship can vary between €2,000 – €25,000.
