UCL Global Excellence Graduate Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2014

University College London is offering global excellence scholarships for outstanding graduate students joining UCL. Scholarships are open for international students. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, achievement and potential. The scholarships consist of £5,000 and are tenable for one year only. Students must have received an offer of a place from the department by the final deadline of 11 April 2014 to be considered.. UCL Global Excellence Scholarships aim to reward academic excellence among new UCL students. There are a total of eight scholarships per session for the academically most outstanding graduate students joining UCL. Students enrolling on joint programmes (programmes run by UCL and another university) are not eligible..  Scholarships are available for pursuing graduate degree level at University College London.
The research areas of this scholarship are: Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University College London.
Who can apply to this scholarship? Students enrolling on joint programmes (programmes run by UCL and another university) are not eligible. Candidates must have applied for admission to UCL for degree study at graduate level to be considered for an award. Each Academic Department must make their nominations for the awards by 28 March 2014 and so it is recommended that they apply for admission as early as possible.
Benefits of the scholarship:  Scholarships consist of £5,000 and are tenable for one year only. Scholarship funds may be applied to fees or paid out in three installments payable at the start of each term.

Duration:  These excellence scholarships are offered for one year only.
Number of scholarships:  There are a total of eight excellence scholarships per session for the academically most outstanding  graduate students joining UCL. One graduate award is reserved for a student resident in each of the following regions: The UK, Europe (excluding the UK, but including Russia), Africa, Indian sub-continent and the Middle East, China, North- and Central South-East Asia, Australasia, North America and Central and South America including the Caribbean.
