Two Postgraduate Positions in Human Ecology at Lund University, 2012 Sweden

The posts are based at the Department of Human Geography, Lund University. The department combines tradition with modern research and education. The research conducted in several of the fields at the department was judged to be excellent in the most recent research assessment exercise at Lund University (RQ08). In recent decades, the department has been successful in the competition for external research funding and has close ties with specialized centers such as CIRCLE and LUCSUS at Lund University. The key areas of research are economic geography, development geography and landscape, urban and social geography, and human ecology, among others.

-To be eligible for third cycle studies an applicant must 1. Have been awarded a second cycle degree 2. Have completed studies the equivalent of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 credits are at the second cycle level, or 3. Have acquired comparable qualifications in some other way in Sweden or abroad. -Students that met the requirements for basic eligibility for third cycle studies before 1 July 2007, shall also be considered eligible for third cycle studies after the new regulations came into effect, but only until the end of June 2015 in accordance with the following paragraph: The requirements for basic eligibility for third cycle studies are met by those who have completed first cycle education corresponding to at a minimum 180 higher education credits or acquired comparable qualifications in some other way in Sweden or abroad.
