The successful candidate will interact closely with the Head of program to define the future direction of thermoelectric research efforts and execute such plans for a young, dynamic and international research group. The person will be responsible for the activities in processing and development of thermoelectric ceramic materials and their applications. He or she will also be responsible for project executing, cross team collaboration, junior staff training, new technology development, etc. The candidate will be actively involved in supervising for PhD students and is expected to interact closely with other scientists, researchers and technicians. Fund-raising to attract externally funded research projects will be an important task, as will be national and international networking activities.
-Required qualifications and experience: the candidate must have a PhD degree in physics, materials science or similar several years of relevant experience in the field excellent track record -experience in the area of thermoelectric materials processing -characterization an international level of experimentally-based research combined with solid theoretical knowledge the dedication and motivation that is required to create a stimulating -creative research environment proficiency in English good communication and presentation skills
