University of Leeds is inviting application for School of Design Taught Postgraduate Awards. Up to five awards are available for UK, EU and International students wishing to undertake a one-year full-time taught Master’s Degree in the School of Design in session 2014/15. These prestigious awards will provide £3,000 towards the cost of academic fees. Application deadline is 30th June 2014.. The School of Design is delighted to announce that up to five School of Design Taught Postgraduate Awards, valued at £3,000 per award, are available for UK, EU and International students wishing to undertake a one-year full-time taught Master’s Degree in the School of Design in session 2014/15. These prestigious Awards will provide £3,000 towards the cost of academic fees for new students wishing to undertake full-time (one-year) Taught Postgraduate Study from September 2014 within the School of Design at the University of Leeds..  Scholarships are available for pursuing taught postgraduate degree level at University of Leeds.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Please read this information carefully, as your application form will be automatically rejected if you do not meet all of the eligibility criteria listed below
· Applicants must first submit a taught postgraduate study application form and be in receipt of a Student ID Number[1] to be eligible for a School of Design Taught Postgraduate Award.  Applications without a valid Student ID Number will be rejected.
· These awards are only available to applicants who would be liable to pay academic fees at the full Home/EU and International fee rate.
· Applicants must normally hold a First Degree at undergraduate level equivalent to at least a UK First Class Honours degree and should be considered to be the ‘best of the best’ (eg, successful applicants are likely to be in the top 5% of their BSC/BA cohort) Applicants should either have graduated with the appropriate First Degree or be in their final year of study.
· Applicants whose first language is not English must already meet the School’s English Language requirements of a minimum 6.5 IELTS. You should have a valid test result, which is no more than two years old by your official start date at the University of Leeds.
