Scholarships to study at the University of South Australia

This call for scholarships to study in Australia are for the graduate level and are an initiative of the University of South Australia together with the Australian Government.

There are three types of scholarships available:

  • International Training and Research Program Scholarships (RTPi).
  • International Research Scholarships (IRTS).
  • And besides, President Scholarships.

Scholarship benefits

For international research grants, the cost of tuition will be covered for about three (3) years for doctoral and two (2) for master's degree. In addition, there is the possibility of extending it for six (6) months in the first case.

However, it does not cover health insurance and visa.

For President Scholarships and training program scholarships, an AUD stipend of $27,596 per year will be awarded, in addition to tuition fees and health insurance.

Please note that transportation and travel will be the responsibility of the fellow.

These are the requirements to apply for

UniSA qualifies each scholarship application according to the following parameters: bachelor's degree qualifications, arbitrator stall reports, proposed research area, and supervisor report.

Applicants are ranked in descending order according to their scores on each of these criteria and scholarships are awarded on merit basis. Generally, more applicants are eligible for admission to research degrees than scholarships are available.

In general, fellows must have first-class or equivalent honors.

An awardee must be registered full-time as a candidate for a Master's Degree for Research or PhD at the University of South Australia.
