Samuel Seabury Scholarship Postgraduate Research Scholarships at University of Aberdeen, 2012 UK

The University of Aberdeen wishes to commemorate the life and work of Bishop Samuel Seabury commencing in October 2012 by awarding a PhD scholarship for research on any aspect of Scottish-American relations in the areas of history, politics, international relations or religion.The scholarship will cover full tuition fees for the duration of the degree plus a contribution towards living expenses of £6000 per year (c. US$10,000).

-Applicants must be American citizens liable to overseas tuition rates. -Preference will be given, in the first instance, to applicants in holy orders in the American Episcopal Church and, secondly, applicants who are members of the American Episcopal Church in good standing. -Applied for admission to the University of Aberdeen Submitted the relevant application form for the scholarship -Been offered admission to the University by the closing date (below).
