Who can apply to this scholarship? The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a strong interest in health equity and social justice. S/he will be passionate about research, preferably with a good understanding of the financial, human resource and governance dimensions of health systems, especially in the context of universal health coverage. S/he must be able to demonstrate innovative thinking with respect to methods and approaches. Applicants will have a relevant doctoral degree (e.g. public health, sociology, political science, development studies) and possess knowledge of public health, health systems or health policy.
