Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Emering Materials Science Department, 2012 Republic of Korea

This position will be offered on a full-time fixed-term basis for a period of 2 years with the possibility of an extension. The Division of Emerging Materials at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The laboratory of Functional Quantum Matter is focused on elucidation the mechanisms of High Temperature Superconductivity (HTSC) for Iron-based superconductor. In the laboratory, the high quality single crystals of iron-based superconductors are grown and the goal of the research is to find out the HTSC mechanism using the Iron-based single crystals. The laboratory has the possibilities for good researches because the high quality single crystals are grown. Candidates with a strong background in Superconductivity or magnetism are encouraged to apply.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will have particular responsibility for investigating physical properties of High Tc superconductors (Iron-based superconductors).

Scholarship Deadline: 15 May 2012
