Postdoctoral Position in Economics at Umeå University, Sweden

CPS is an interdisciplinary centre for Swedish and international researchers and research teams within fields such as history, human geography, medicine and statistics. CPS hosts the Ageing and Living Conditions-programme (ALC) with long-term funding from the Swedish Research Council’s “Linnaeus Grant”. ALC was recently appointed one of the strong research environments at Umeå University.

A person who has taken a doctoral degree in Economics no later than three years before the last date of the application and who has not previously held research fellow/post-doctoral fellowships is qualified to apply. Applicants should have a documented experience of quantitative research based on econometric methods. The applicants will further be judged on the quality of their scientific publications and their relevance for the project. Experience with quantitative analysis of issues within fields of research as labour economics, demography or health economics is a merit. Applicants who have previously held a post-doctoral fellowship are not eligible.
