The qualification requirements to be admitted as a doctoral student is an exam at the advanced level, course requirements of at least 240 ECTS out of which 60 ECTS are obtained at the advanced level, and 90 ECTS in economics. For admission to the PhD program in econometrics, the applicant must also fulfil course requirements of at least 60 ECTS in statistics or mathematical statistics. A person who in some other system in the country or abroad has acquired corresponding university education has eligibility for admission. The assessments of the applicants are based on their qualifications and their ability to benefit from the doctoral-level education they will receive.
