PhD Position in Organic Electronics at Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona, Spain

Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona is funding PhD Position in the area of Organic Electronics. Applicants must hold a degree in Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry. PhD position will start from the 1st of January 2014. Applicants must have experience in organic electronic devices and electrical characterization. Successful candidates will work in an international environment and might travel to other European countries to develop the project.. Opening of a PhD position in the area of Organic Electronics. The researcher will be able to join to a pioneer, dynamic and active group from the Department of NanoScience and Organic Materials from the Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC). This research group approaches some of the most exciting and challenging fields that a materials scientist can explore nowadays — the study of advanced organic functional materials and nanoscopic systems with useful electronic (superconductors, metallic conductors, semiconductors), magnetic (ferromagnets, superparamagnets, single molecule magnets, nanoporous magnets, etc), biological and/or optical properties. We are also involved in the development of materials processing techniques, molecular self-assembly and on the preparation of functional nano-structured materials.. This position is for pursuing PhD at Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona in Spain.
