Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMSARN) Scholarships at AIT in Thailand, 2015

The Asian Institute of Technology invites applications for Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMSARN) Scholarships for pursuing masters degree program in any field of study related to four thematic areas. Each scholarship award covers tuition and fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus, for the entire period of the 22-month master’s degree program. Students must be citizen of Thai, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and China (Yunnan & Guanxi Provinces). The application deadline is 27 February, 2015..  The Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships are granted by the Royal Thai Government in honor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It aims to assist human resource development in the 6 GMS countries in any field of study related to the following 4 thematic areas: (1) Infrastructure Development (2) Energy Technology (3) Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development, and (4) Environmental Engineering and Management.. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing master’s degree program at the Asian Institute of Technology.
The research areas of this scholarship are: Scholarships are available in these thematic areas deemed important for GMS: (1) Infrastructure Development (2) Energy Technology (3) Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development and (4) Environmental Engineering and Management.
Who can apply to this scholarship?  Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Benefits of the scholarship: Each scholarship award covers tuition and fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus, for the entire period of the 22-month master’s degree program, with values as follows: -Tuition and registration fees for 4 semesters 752,000 Baht -Accommodation and bursary for living expenses for 22 months 218,900 Baht Total value of Scholarship ( ~ 30 Thai Baht = 1 USD) is 970,900 Baht
