Schuler-Walter Foundation is offering J.J. Walter Scholarship in History is awarded to one history major at the Ohio State University at Lima each year. The total yearly value of the scholarship is $2,250, which is dispersed over two semesters. Past recipients may apply again. One scholarship is offered. Scholarship is offered for two semesters. The application deadline is May 1, 2014.. The J.J. Walter Scholarship in History is awarded to one history major at the Ohio State University at Lima each year. The scholarship is sponsored by the Schuler-Walter Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen civil society by supporting public education. The Foundation’s co-founder, Stephen C. Walter, is a great-grandson of Judge J.J. Walter and the foundation has named this scholarship in the Judge’s honor..  Scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate degree (for two semesters) level at Ohio State University.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Eligibility requirements include:
· maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA
· complete History 398 with a “C” or better
· be a declared and approved history major
· complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by Feb. 15, 2014
· complete the application and essay responses by May 1, 2014
