Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program and with Belarus, 2012 USA

Public and private non-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) may submit proposals to support English-speaking secondary school students from Iraq or Belarus in three-to four-week U.S.-based exchanges in summer 2013 that explore the primary themes of civic rights and responsibilities, leadership development, respect for diversity, and community engagement.

Iraqi participants will be joined in their U.S.- based activities by approximately 10-15 competitively selected American teenagers of the same age as the Iraqi students. ECA encourages the inclusion of as many American participants as possible.Belarusian participants will be joined in their U.S.- based activities by approximately 10-15 competitively selected American teenagers of the same age as the Belarusian students. ECA encourages the inclusion of as many American participants as possible.
