The GLAXOSMITHKLINE/AFPC award will be given for the best scientific paper written and submitted for publication by a graduate student during the year preceding the annual meeting. The winner will be notified by April 15 and must agree to attend the AFPC Conference and present his/her paper in the form of a 20 minute oral presentation. A grant of up to $1500 is provided to cover travel costs for the recipient to present the scientific findings and receive an honorarium ($ 750) for the achievements.
1.Eligible papers (written in English or French) are those that have been published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal within the calendar year. 2.Each graduate advisor may only present one candidate in each competition. 3.The student must have conducted the research for the paper while a graduate student.
