Who can apply to this scholarship? Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
· Applications are sought from suitably
· qualified people wishing to pursue research leading to PhD status under the supervision of leading researchers.
· PhD students at the University of Hull follow modules for research and transferable skills development and gain a masters level Certificate or Diploma in Research Training, in addition to their research degree.
Benefits of the scholarship: Each full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarship will include fees at the ‘home/EU’ student rate and maintenance (£13,726 in 2014/15), subject to final confirmation) for three years, depending on satisfactory progress. The International PhD Fee bursaries will cover full tuition fees for full-time overseas students for three years, depending on satisfactory progress, but no living expenses.
