The research areas of this scholarship are: The Dan David Prize covers three time dimensions – Past, Present and Future. The 2014 Dan David Prize for the Past Time Dimension will be awarded in the field of History, for the Present Time Dimension in the field of Combatting Memory Loss and for the Future Time Dimension in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Who can apply to this scholarship? The prizes are granted to individuals or institutions with proven, exceptional, distinct excellence in the sciences, arts, and humanities that have made an outstanding contribution to humanity on the basis of merit, without discrimination of gender, race, ethnicity, color, religion, language, nationality, disability, or political affiliation.
Benefits of the scholarship: The scholarships will provide US$15,000 each to outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral students of exceptional promise in the chosen fields for the current year.
