The College of Arts is offering a number of scholarships for students undertaking a doctoral programme in the College of Arts Graduate School in session 2014/15. Applicants must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of a place on a College of Arts PhD degree programme. Scholarships normally offer an annual stipend, plus tuition fees at the Home/EU rate and include around 4 hours per week of internship duties. Applicants should expect to be informed of the outcome of the Scholarship competition by early May 2014. Applications for both Admissions and Scholarships must be submitted to the University by Monday, 13th January 2014.. In order to be nominated for a scholarship, applicants must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of a place on a College of Arts PhD degree programme.
· Applicants must not be holding another full Scholarship for the 2014/15 academic session. Applicants holding a part scholarship (e.g. fees only or stipend only) may still be considered.
· Home, EU and International students are all eligible to apply. However, in the case of International students, any award may be limited to tuition fees only.
