Arrow Energy Agricultural Scholarships at University of Queensland in Australia, 2014

The University of Queensland is offering two Agricultural scholarships to Year 12 Rural students who plan to take up study in the field of Agriculture. Scholarships are offered for 4 years. The amount of scholarship is $6,000. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit, academic achievement in applicant’s secondary school studies and financial need. Application deadline is 7th March 2014.. The University of Queensland, in conjunction with Arrow Energy, will award two scholarships to Year 12 Rural students who plan to take up study in the field of Agriculture..  Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at University of Queensland in Australia.

Who can apply to this scholarship? The scholarship is open to students who:
· Completed their high school studies in one of the following local government areas in 2012 or 2013:
· Central Highlands Regional Council
· Gladstone Regional Council
· Isaac Regional Council
· Maranoa Regional Council
· Toowoomba Regional Council
· Western Downs Regional Council; and Have not previously completed any tertiary study; and are enrolled or are intending to enrol as a full
· time student in one of the following programs at UQ’s Gatton campus from semester 1, 2014: Bachelor  of Agricultural Science Bachelor of Agribusiness, Bachelor of Applied Science and  Bachelor of Science (in a Gatton
· campus based major)
