AllerGen Emerging Clinician-Scientist Research Fellowship, 2012-2013 Canada

The AllerGen Emerging Clinician-Scientist Research Fellowship provides a stipend of up to $250,000 for a maximum of two years for clinicians who have completed Clinical Immunology and Allergy sub-specialty training at a Canadian academic health sciences centre. Preference will be given to applicants whose host institution can confirm that the applicant has been identified for a junior faculty position following successful completion of the Fellowship and/or continued provincial research funding support. AllerGen encourages applicants to secure matching funding to a level commensurate with their level of clinical training.

Eligible candidates are Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are clinicians enrolled in or have completed Clinical Immunology and Allergy sub-specialty training at a Canadian academic health sciences centre. Applications will be considered 18 months prior to and 18 months after completion of the applicants Clinical Immunology and Allergy sub-specialty training. Preference will be given to applicants whose host institution can confirm that the applicant has been identified for a junior faculty position following successful completion of the Fellowship and/or provincial follow-on research funding.
