AHRC Funded Research Master’s Studentship in History at Swansea University, 2013 UK

The new Master’s by Research is ideal for those who would like to do a research degree without committing themselves to a PhD. Students on this programme can study full or part time and are examined solely on the basis of a 30,000 word thesis. History challenges us to understand the past so that we might make sense of the present. It encourages us to think about how the past is studied, written about, and represented, how it has been kept alive for generations, and how it can be preserved for generations to come. History at Swansea explores the major periods and civilisations from the middle ages to the modern day.
