The research areas of this scholarship are: Studentship is awarded for a project on Korea: security and development within the school of Language, Literature and International Studies. The doctoral work will relate to any area of study of the domestic or foreign politics of North Korea and/or the international relations of Korea (North and/ or South) and will be carried out under the supervision of Professor Hazel Smith.
Who can apply to this scholarship? As a minimum requirement, applicants should have or expect to receive a masters degree in a relevant subject.
Benefits of the scholarship: This PhD studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees at UK/EU rates. International applicants may apply but will be expected to pay the difference between the UK/EU and International Fee Rate.
