Each year, The French Development Agency (AFD) in partnership with the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA) offers scholarships for master programs at PSIA in development practice (one-year program) and in international development (two-year program). The scholarships are open for the students of countries relevant to AFD’s mission. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic record and project at Sciences Po. Interested applicants can send their applications by email till April 22, 2013.. The French Development Agency (AFD) is the main implementing agency for France’s official development assistance to developing countries and overseas territories. Based on a special partnership with the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA), every year multiple scholarships ranging from partial to full tuition grants will be offered for incoming students in the Development programs at PSIA, coming preferably from AFD priority countries.. The scholarship is offered for pursuing master’s degree.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Applicants must be admitted in the following Master programs at PSIA for the September 2013 incoming class: Master in Development Practice (one

· year program). Priority will be given to students coming from countries relevant to AFD’s mission. These countries include: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ghana, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, and Togo.

Duration: The AFD-PSIA Scholarship is offered for the entire length of study at PSIA on condition of completing the scholarship requirements.
