The British Council is committed to a policy of equal opportunity and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community. We guarantee an interview to disabled candidates who meet the essential criteria. We work to ensure that people are not unjustifiably discriminated against on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any other irrelevant grounds.he Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme aims to build capacity in areas where Tullow’s host countries experience significant skills gaps, especially, but not exclusively, around these countries’ oil and gas industries. The Scheme is part of Tullow’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme (referred to as Social Enterprise (SE)) which aims to contribute to long-term socio-economic development in countries where we operate.
Tullow is investing in secondary, vocational and tertiary education in other projects it is undertaking. This scholarship scheme is targeted at post-graduate education because of the identified priority gaps and the specialized nature of the skills required for each participating countries’ fast developing oil and gas industry and other sectors so as not to lead to overdependence on the Oil and Gas industry.
