The relevant field of research is European law with focus on the EU financial market, including, in particular, financial services and capital, banking law, regulated markets and corporate governance in financial institutions. Applications shall contain proposal(s) for a research programme which can be developed and contribute to the further establishment of an internationally competitive research environment. Proposal(s) for a research programme should not be confined to the description of one individual project but comprise ideas for several projects which may be developed further. The immediate result sought for is international network-building (through the organisation of and participation in workshops and conferences) and international publishing and, importantly, the initiation and, eventually, successful completion of at least one new research project.
The formal competence required for an employment as postdoctoral researcher is a Swedish degree of doctors of laws or an equivalent non-Swedish degree which has been obtained no more than three years prior to the expiring date for application. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are required.Experience from teaching and administration will also be considered relevant.
