2012 Postdoctoral Position in Signaling to Chromatin and Implications in Human Disease at BRIC, Denmark

A Postdoc position is open for a highly motivated researcher in the Hansen group at BRIC, University of Copenhagen. Research in the group is focused on signaling pathways affecting cell proliferation and differentiation through post-translational modifications of histones, transcription factors and other chromatin associated proteins. The aim of this project is to investigate how mitogen- and stress-activated kinases affect transcription of genes normally regulated by Polycomb group protein members related to human diseases.

We expect you to be a highly motivated and interacting person with a PhD in Life Sciences who is willing to share your knowledge and expertise with the group. A candidate with experience in mammalian cell biology, biochemistry and/or molecular biology will be preferred.

Scholarship Deadline: February 24, 2012
