2012 Canon Collins Educational Trust Scholarship for Postgraduate Students from Southern Africans, UK

Canon Collins Trust invites applications from students from southern Africa for scholarships for postgraduate study in 2011 /12. All scholarships are for postgraduate study in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) for one academic year. Full scholarships, including maintenance and tuition fees, or partial grants are provided for taught Masters programmes. Double funding (i.e. receipt of full scholarships from both Canon Collins Trust and any other organisation) is not allowed. We do not fund undergraduate studies. Applications for all subject areas will be considered. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the impact that gaining the qualification will have on their community, country or the region.

To apply for a scholarship under this programme you must: be a national of and resident in one of the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe. be in possession of a good first degree or about to graduate in the year of application have at least 2 years work experience in a relevant field. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their commitment to the development of their country and region.
